LAWEP International Corporation is a culmination of Marvi’s business, legislative and technology expertise with her passion for social and gender reforms influenced by her many firsts including several of her own legislation followed by her many constituents including her over two million X followers. Her experience as a parliamentarian and federal minister, founder and CEO of a technology company and as banker has made the creation of LAWEP International Corporation a reality. She has 30 years of work experience and has since worked for Citibank, been CEO of Pakistan’s first satellite tracking company, advised the President of Pakistan on Media Management, the Ministry of Investments, been a parliamentarian for two consecutive terms, an Information Committee Chairperson in parliament, Chaired as Federal Minister the largest social safety net of Pakistan BISP. She has undertaken a guest lecture tour of European think tanks and universities. Marvi has the distinction of being awarded the UK House of Commons Speaker Inaugural Democracy Award 2017, the French Officier de Merite award 2017 and Membership of the World Bank Advisory Gender Council 2017 and is currently Member of the World Bank Advisory Council Partnership of Economic Inclusion. She is a graduate of the London School of Economics and SciencesPo Paris (PSIA). She is multilingual: English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Urdu, Sindhi.
